St. Mark's Overnighter December 10, 2011 December 1, 2011
We will spend the night at St. Marks' gym at the south east corner of Willie and Evergreen in Mt Prospect. For dinner, we will have a cooking competition by patrol. We will spend the rest of the evening playing in the gym.

Hill St. Park Community Service Project November 12, 2011 November 9, 2011
We will do some conservation work at Hill St. Park. We will be cutting down Buckthorn trees, as they are an invasive species in our area. We hope to make this an annual extension of Tom LeCleres' Eagle Project. There is plenty of Buckthorn to last for a while. We will Bar B Q hotdogs for lunch.

Bong State Recreation Area Hike Outing November 11, 12 & 13, 2011 October 20, 2011
We will be camping at Bong State Recreation Area near Burlington, WI . The park was once designated to be a jet fighter base, but was cancelled three days before they were to pour concrete for the runways. Today it is over 4500 acres of savannah, wetlands, grassland, and scattered woodland. We will hike some of the 16 miles of trails. Lunch will be on the trail.

Kankakee River State Park Bike Outing October 21, 22 & 23, 2011 October 6, 2011
We will be camping at Kankakee River State Park in Bourbonnais,IL. This park was once part of the Illini and Miami Indian nations at the time of the first Euoropean contact in 1670. More recently “The Three Fires” dominated the area consisting of the Potawatomi, Ottawa, and Chippewa nations. In the 1800s French Canadians came down from Quebec and settled the area known as Bourbonnais. Anyway, bring your bike because there is a 10 mile bike trail in the park. For the more ambitious bikers you can do 20 miles, 10 out and 10 back. Lunch will be on the trail.

Cantigny Outing with the Webelos October 15 & 16, 2011 September 1, 2011
We will be camping at Cantigny Park in Wheaton Saturday night. We will explore the 1st Division Army museum and climb on tanks and armored vehicles outside. We will also take a 2 1/2 mile hike around the property.

Fox River Canoe Trip September 23, 24, & 25, 2011 September 1, 2011
We will be camping at Illini State park in Marseilles Il. On Saturday we will enjoy the serenity of the Fox river as seen from a canoe. We will travel about 12 miles, from sun drenched prairies to sand stone cliffs, stopping for lunch along the way.

US Grant Pilgrimage - Galena Outing April 29, 30, & May 1, 2011 April 14, 2011
We will be camping at Mississippi Palisades State Park in Savanna Ill. On Saturday we will travel to the town of Galena to join in the U.S. Grant Pilgrimage. This outing involves hundreds of scouts swarming the town and taking part in various activities. There is a GPS guided trail hike. There is a sort of scavenger hunt that involves finding many different historic places throughout the town. There is also a dodge ball tournament. We will not take part in all activities.

Blackhawk District Camporee April 15, 16, & 17, 2011 March 31, 2011
The first outing is the camporee at Lakota. The theme is Saving Princess Peach, we will participate in various skill challenges by patrol.

Mountain Man Scout Skills March 11, 12, & 13, 2011 February 24, 2011
We will camp at the Rockford Rotary Forest Preserve near Rockford. We will test our skills in many different ways. There will be a cooking competition followed by a communal dinner. Among other things we will chuck spears, lash flag poles, leave trail signs, do some tracking, and build fires. What other excuse do you need to get outside? So bring your 'A' game and have some fun!

Brrr Winter Campout February 11, 12, & 13, 2011 February 3, 2011
We will brave the elements at Camp Lakota and test our ability to survive in the Great White North. If the weather cooperates we will enjoy some fun in the snow. We will also try and do some orienteering; we will definitely do some fire building, maybe a scavenger hunt, and fry up some doughnuts. Dinner Sat. night will be family style, we will all eat one big meal together. If it is very cold Fri. night we may go up Sat. morning.

Cascade Mountain Ski Outing January 21, 22, & 23, 2011 January 6, 2011
We will ski Saturday at Cascade Mt. in Portage, WI. We will be lodging at the Best Western Countryside Inn in Lodi. Saturday night will consist of pizza for dinner, swimming in the pool, and a movie in the conference room, where we will be sleeping on the floor. A beginner's lesson is mandatory unless the ski lesson exemption is signed by a parent.
