Blackhawk Trail Hike	November 8, 9, & 10, 2002	October 24, 2002
This weekend will test your stamina on a 10-mile hike on the Blackhawk Trail. There will be an option to complete the 10-mile return trip for those who need to complete a 20-mile hike requirement for the Hiking Merit Badge. Nippersink Canoe Outing	September 20, 21 & 22 2002	September 5, 2002
This will be a weekend that will test and refine your paddling skills on a trip down the winding Nippersink Creek. The Troop will be camping near Spring Grove, Illinois on Friday night, canoeing Saturday, camping Saturday night and returning mid-day to Mount Prospect on Sunday. Galena Outing	April 26, 27 & 28 2002	April 11, 2002
48th U.S. Grant Scout Pilgrimage This will be a fun weekend featuring a 5 mile walking tour of the town, museum tours, trading post, demonstrations from the 1800's, a Civil War encampment, parade and lots of time to explore this historic town! The completion of the Hike earns you a MEDAL! About 8,000 Scouts attend this event each year from as far away as Canada! Click here for more outing information and your permission slip

Come to Castaway Island!! This will be a weekend of fun and challenge featuring interactive demonstrations and competitive events in first aid, fire building, orienteering, lashings and knots, woods tools and wilderness survival skills.
